We are immensely proud to announce that the symbolic opening of QueerMuzeum – the ribbon-cutting ceremony – will be conducted by the following distinguished individuals:
Andrzej Selerowicz – the initiator of the Polish movement for non-heteronormative individuals in the 1980s, publisher of Biuletyn – the first Polish regular LGBT+ magazine (since 1983);
Leszek Truchliński – founder of the first Polish LGBT+ organization, the Wrocław-based Etap, active in the second half of the 1980s;
Ryszard Kisiel – queer activist, publisher of the underground magazine Filo since 1986;
Ewa Hołuszko – activist of the underground Solidarity, pseudonym “Harda”; advocate for the rights of transgender people and national minorities;
Anna Grodzka – member of the Sejm of the 7th term; founder and first president of the Trans-Fuzja Foundation;
Izabela Morska (Filipiak) – writer, essayist, and initiator of LGBTQ topics in literature, culture, and the humanities.
